Small Compression Springs

Small compression springs are used for many things such as watches, toys, medical devices, and appliances.  The most common form of a small compression spring is a cylindrical coil of wire that deflects when compressed. Additionally, small compression springs are used in many types of machinery, vehicles, and even in jewelry. Customers have attempted to manufacture small compression springs for any use with little more than wire. The reason for this is that they feel, especially for a few pieces, that prices are astronomically high for small springs.  But are they really high?  The answer is probably not when one considers the time involved in making a small compression spring to an exact or even approximate specification.  Leaving the spring manufacturing process up to a professional spring maker, even if its a small compression spring ensures that one will get exactly what they want and allows them the time to work on other projects that they themselves have more expertise in doing.
