Katy Spring is looking for experienced spring makers than can make a positive difference for our team. Opportunities currently available in our Wireforming, Coiling, Secondary, Lathe & Grinding departments.
We utilize many types of spring manufacturing equipment including:
- Torin, HTC, Itaya, Nucoil & Simco wireformers & coiling machines.
- Bennett spring lathes.
- Simco, SHA, Bennett & Gardner downfeed & crush style spring grinders.
Compensation:

SPRING MAKER TRAINEES
This position is primarily responsible for training in the spring-manufacturing trade.
Setting-up and operating all spring-related manufacturing equipment; coiling machines (Torin, HTC, Itaya, Nucoil & Simco), grinders (Bennett), benders, and spring lathes in accordance with Katy Spring’s safety policies and machine manufacture’s written manuals and guidelines by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- The ability to be trained quickly and understand instruction of how to set up and run spring-making equipment.
• Ability to use measuring equipment such as calipers.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Above average mathematical skills required.
